The Future of Cardiovascular Imaging

HealthTech is pleased to announce our second webinar in a series of webinars on The Future of Cardiovascular Services. These webinars are designed to help participants learn about leading edge diagnosis and treatment that draw upon emerging cardiovascular technologies to improve patient outcomes and hospital operations.

The second webinar, entitled The Future of Cardiovascular Imaging, will discuss the important research and practices at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cardiac MR-PET-CT Program. Udo Hoffman, MD, MPH, Director, Cardiac MR-PET-CT Program at MGH will present this webinar. The webinar will be April 7, 10:00am – 11:00am PDT and will include a 40-minute presentation with a combined 20-minute forecasting and question and answer session. As a result of this presentation, you and your organization will learn about research and clinical activities at Mass General Hospital’s Cardiac MR-PET-CT Program as well as new findings for cardiovascular imaging technologies for chest pain and vulnerable plaque identification.

The first webinar, entitled Reducing Cardiovascular Events through Physician Treatment Intensification, discussed important research and new practices at Kaiser Permanente that highlight the importance of physician treatment intensification. Warren Taylor, MD, Medical Director, Chronic Conditions Management, Kaiser Permanente presented at this webinar. The webinar included a 40-minute presentation with a combined 20-minute forecasting and question and answer session. As a result of this presentation, you and your organization will learn about patient non-compliance vs. physician intensification in the reduction of cardiovascular events, Kaiser’s new risk stratification model, and the changing role of the primary care support team to bring patients to treatment goals.
