HealthTech is pleased to announce a series of webinars on Healthcare Moves Home, stemming from our recent Geriatrics Expert Panel. These webinars are designed to operationalize technologies and strategies to meet the consumer demand for healthcare to shift to the home and decompress EDs and inpatient units.

The first webinar, entitled Hospital at Home, will discuss the Hospital at Home program. This webinar will be given by Bruce Leff, MD an Associate Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Joint Appointment, Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School Public Health, and a panelist from HealthTech’s Geriatrics Expert Panel. The first webinar will be August 6, 11:00am – 12:00pm PDT. As a result of this presentation, you and your organization will learn about Hospital at Home program best practices, future program expansion, and next steps for implementation.

The second webinar, entitled Telemedicine in Homecare: Be Ready for the Future, will discuss home telehealth services. The second webinar will be September 3, 9:00am – 10:00am PDT. The webinar will be given by Erin Denholm, CEO of Centura Health at Home, and a panelist from HealthTech’s Geriatrics Expert Panel. As a result of this presentation, you and your organization will learn about the groundbreaking work being done in home telehealth services, and its impact on utilization, cost and patient satisfaction.

The third webinar, entitled Brain Fitness: Cognitive Health and Brain Training, will discuss the State of the Union on brain fitness. The third webinar will be August 27, 11:00am – 12:00pm PDT. The webinar will be given by Alvaro Fernandez, CEO & Co-Founder of SharpBrains.com. As a result of this presentation, you and your organization will learn about the effectiveness of cognitive fitness programs, and its impact on geriatric services.

After logging in to the HealthTech website, click on the sign up tab under each event to individually register for the webinar. A registration confirmation with webinar instructions will be emailed to you shortly.

Each webinar consists of:

• A 45-minute presentation by a HealthTech Expert
• A 10-minute interactive Q&A session
• Support materials available to participants before each Webinar
• Rebroadcast available within 3 days

HealthTech has adopted this technology to improve the diffusion of our research throughout your organization. Even if a colleague is unable to attend the live Webinar, they may, at their convenience, view the recorded presentations.
