HealthTech is pleased to announce a series of webinars on The Future of Independent Living. These webinars are designed to help participants learn about the role of emerging technologies, design innovations, and service innovations in promoting health, well-being, and independence for persons with disabilities and older adults.
The first webinar, entitled Identifying and Piloting Consumer-Based Technologies for Independent Living, will highlight the experiences of Meridian Health in the selection and evaluation process of consumer-based technologies that promote independence in the home for older adults. Sandra Elliott, Director of Consumer Technology and Service Development for Meridian Health, will give this webinar on Wednesday, May 27, 9:00am – 10:00am PDT. The webinar will include a combined 45-minute presentation and forecasting session followed by a 15-minute question and answer session. As a result of this presentation, you and your organization will hear lessons learned in identifying and piloting consumer-based technologies such as in medication management and fall prevention, how to partner with leading technology providers and overcoming major barriers to consumer adoption.
After logging in to the HealthTech website, click on the sign up tab under the event to register for the webinar. A registration confirmation with webinar instructions will be emailed to you shortly.
