HealthTech is pleased to announce an Expert Panel in the area of emerging technologies that will impact independent living, across all forms of disability and aging-related functional limitations.
The Expert Panel will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Washington, DC. After logging in to the HealthTech website, click on the sign up tab under the event to register for the expert panel. A registration confirmation will be emailed to you shortly.
- What technology- and process-based innovations are avilable to promote independent living for older adults and persons living with disabilities?
- What strategies can be used to overcome the barriers to the delivery of these technologies and to adopt these technologies?
Breakfast, lunch, and a reception will be provided on the day of the meeting. Interspersed throughout the day are time slots for breaks and Question-and-Answer sessions during which observers and panel members can discuss issues of common interest. You will need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements. As space is limited, partners are limited to two spots.
