HealthTech and The Children’s Partnership are pleased to announce an expert panel on Technology-Enabled Innovations for Improving Children’s Health, a project funded by The California Endowment. This event will take place in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, May 5, 2009.
The Expert Panel meeting consists of a carefully selected group of experts representing diverse viewpoints. These experts will discuss a series of forecasts about the services, programs, and technology-enabled innovations that are possible through the application of information and communications technologies, and how they will shape children’s health in the next two to five years and beyond. Particular emphasis will be placed on the role information and communications technologies can play in reducing health disparities among low-income and other underserved children in California.
The panel meeting will be held from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time. Breakfast and lunch will be provided; there will also be a reception from 4:30-5:30 PM on the day of the meeting. The venue is The California Endowment Center for Healthy Communities located at 1000 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. Observers are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
There will be a limited number of seats available to observe our Expert Panel discussion. As an observer, you will have the opportunity to gain insight from the discussion and also to network with panelists and other observers.
